Health Talk
Overview: This 8 week heath talk series is presented by Dr. Ivory Raye. The series was created to support a deeper understanding of how food, physical activity, stress, sleep, inflammation, and pain impact the health state. Classes help participants identity obstacles to health and provide practices that can be implemented to overcome obstacles and optimize health. The health talks also spotlight other programs at Mt. Carmel and in our community that can be used to gain deeper skills in these areas: cooking / nutrition classes, yoga, tai chi, stress management, diabetes education, and chronic pain management.
